The director of our institute, Prof. Dieter W. Fellner, is turning 60--in celebration of this special occasion, he is hosting a special colloquium at Fraunhofer IGD. On Tuesday, March 19, 2019, the morning will start off with a bit of science: The talks will all focus on visual computing--the core competence of Fraunhofer IGD--as the basis of current digital topics. The afternoon will be dedicated to research policy: How can science benefit from digitization in Germany and Europe? The day will end with a celebratory dinner in Darmstadt.
