After a short hiatus — due to global events and renovation work, which only fueled our innovative spirit — we are finally returning to our Fraunhofer IGD this year. We cordially invite you to come in person to the place where ideas are born, and the future becomes a tangible reality.
Can we call Computer Graphics Night a tradition at this point? Of course we can! Year after year, this event continues to prove its importance and integral status in the world of visual computing. It is a special privilege — and not one we take lightly — that we can honor scientific work of outstanding quality time and again.
Join us for an exciting look at the latest trends and developments in visual computing, and be there when our young researchers take the spotlight. Together with our associated chairs, we will honor the best Bachelor's and Master's theses with the Best Thesis Award. But it won’t stop there: Out Best Paper Award will recognize the most outstanding scientific publications in the categories of Impact on Science, Impact on Business, and Impact on Research. Attractive prizes will also be up for grabs.
A special highlight will be the guest lecture by Prof. Dr. Jürgen Bernard from the University of Zurich. As a former Fraunhofer colleague, he will provide insight into his current research interests and talk about his experiences transitioning from research at Fraunhofer IGD to professional life in his lecture from the popular series "My Life After."
